La Boheme

La Boheme presented at Germantown Performing Arts Centre

Puccini's timeless story of young artists falling in and out of love will be performed in the intimate setting of the Germantown Performing Arts Centre.  Angela Fout makes her triumphant return to the United States as Mimi, after close to a decade as the prima donna of Theatre St. Gallen in Switzerland.  Joining her as Rodolfo is Eric Barry, the aptly named "Pavarotti of the Panhandle".  Metropolitan Opera singer Levi Hernandez sings Marcello with the stunning Puerto Rican soprano Zulimar Lopez-Hernandez as Musetta and renowned bass Matt Curran as Colline. Ari Pelto (Barber of Seville, Don Pasquale) returns to conduct the Memphis Symphony Orchestra.

*Generous sponsors include: Eleanor Currie - Opening Night sponsor; Barbara Marshall - Steve Aiken sponsor; Jeff Capwell - Ari Pelto sponsor.
