Opera Memphis Announces Opera in the Park!
Join Opera Memphis and the Levitt Shell for Opera in the Park on April 22, 2010 at 7:00PM.
Featuring modern yet traditionally Japanese costumes by renowned ceramic artist Jun Kaneko, the principal cast will perform excerpts from Giacomo Puccini’s MADAME BUTTERFLY. Puccini’s MADAME BUTTERFLY is a staple of the opera repertoire and the most often performed opera in the United States.
Opera in the Park is an early production of Levitt Shell's season and will be Michael Ching's final show as Opera Memphis' General and Artistic Director.
Opera in the Park is free and open to the public.
