Opera Memphis Junior Convservatory presents THE PIRATE TRIAL OF POOH-BAH

6/18/10

Join the Opera Memphis Junior Conservatory students (ages 10-18) for a glimpse into the town of Pooh-Bah for a story of theft and justice for all! Meet zany characters like Fred, who would like to be “the man formerly known as Frederic the Pirate,” Angie, the keeper of the mysterious TRINKET OF POOH-BAH, and the Lord High Executioner, who apparently is just a judge. Witness the exploits of the pirates, police and townsfolk on a journey of courage, loyalty, cowardice, frivolity and above all, love. Don’t miss The Pirate Trial of Pooh-Bah (with apologies to Gilbert & Sullivan, George Lucas, MGM Films, and others) presented by the Opera Memphis Department of Education and Outreach on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 7:00pm sharp at the Clark Opera Memphis Center, 6745 Wolf River Parkway. Admission is FREE!
