Verdi’s Requiem

Verdi’s monumental setting of the Requiem comes to the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in a collaboration with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, the Memphis Symphony Chorus, and the University of Mississippi Choirs. Soloists Jamie Barton, Lauren Margison, Limmie Pulliam, and Kenneth Kellogg bring major national voices to this performance, given in memory of Larry Hardy. Choral preparation is led by Joseph Powell, Dr. Donald Trott, and Dr. Elizabeth Hearn, reflecting the cross-institutional scale that Verdi’s Requiem demands and Opera Memphis’s deepening partnerships across Memphis and the region.
