From Verdi to Mozart to Gilbert & Sullivan, the season showcases the range of shows that have made for seven decades of vocal excellence and operatic bliss!

MEMPHIS, TN (June 11, 2026) — Opera Memphis is proud to formally announce our 2026-27 season! We will be bringing back some old favorites, performing a rare Mozart opera for the first time ever, showcasing our new Handorf Company Artists, and celebrating the 15th year of 30 Days of Opera. Best of all, on October 10, we will be celebrating our 70th anniversary with a free concert at the Overton Park Shell!

“Last year we had the honor of hosting the Opera America annual conference, sharing our city and our approach to opera with attendees from across the globe,” said Ned Canty, Opera Memphis’ general director. “This year we focused on our city, with work that is not only relevant to Memphis, but tells its story directly. Next year we zoom back out, celebrating seventy years of singing our hearts out for our city.”

Season subscriptions are now available here, or call (901) 275‑3100. Single tickets go on sale on August 1, 2026.
